I love pre-fall. I picked out the pre-fall/winter collections that radiated through the mist of the season and ended up in my top list of what I’ll be lusting over. The collections give us a little sneak peek into what designers have in store for February and from the looks of things, exciting collections are on the horizon.
Starting with Alexander Wang, and now the new creative Director of Balenciaga, his collection is all about clean cuts and draping. Wang stays true to his aesthetic.
Paris – Edingburg’s collection at Chanel captured the essence of the Scottish tartan prints. Don’t be afraid to mix and match.
I fell in love with these two silhouettes from Helmut Lang, no to mention the model’s haircut (very in right now). Both of them are very different but all feel true to Helmut Lang’s modus operandi.
This is by far, my favorite collection from pre-fall. Phillip Lim is absolutely genius. Hats off.
Once again, McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez at Proenza Schouler never fail to impress and create bags we’re lusting over.
At Rag & Bone it’s all about understated elegance : sporty chic.
