I’m so happy to be in New York, you have no idea and the weather is so nice…. I wasn’t expecting it to be so warm! Indian summer! On Friday night, I went for dinner at the Waverly Inn (really cool place, and Anna Wintour was there!) with my New Yorker slash childhood friend Ines and three of her best friends, who also happen to all work in fashion. I love how everyone is so open-minded in New York, it’s very refreshing.
To sum up what I’ve been up for now, on Saturday morning, I paid my annual visit to the Roy Teeluck Salon ( 5 East 57th Street, New York, NY 10022) and get my color done with colorist extraordinaire : Abby Haliti and blowdry was with Ali Ozel. I’ve been seeing her for the past two years and she’s the one who did my ombre in the first place. She’s a fantastic person, inside and out and she’s a true perfectionist.FYI: Abby has now moved to Julien Farrel Salon.
It’s impressive how knowledgable she is about what she does it’s like watching an artist paint. I added a few honey highlights, I wanted to brighten up my face a little bit and I was really pleased with the result. Do you like it? If you’re ever in the city, make sure to go see her, she’s a miracle worker and on Saturday I told her that she was kind of a hair color surgeon too. If you’re ever going to Roy Teeluck, make sure you tell Abby you’re coming from me !
