Since Guillaume Henry took over the Carven house back in 2009, the brand has gained momentum and is now one of the most sought-after brand to own. I thought that this spring/summer collection was brilliant. I loved how Henry incorporated tribal prints with structured silhouettes that all look very Parisian chic. The complete opposite of Isabel Marant I think. Don’t you agree?
So obviously, when I saw this skirt on sale, I couldn’t resist. I love tribal prints, maybe because I have a soul of a hippie. The most dangerous (for my credit card) part of it, is that this print comes in the sandal, clutch, dress and jacket version too. Oh and did I mention the pastel-colored flat sandals too? Major crush.
But here I wore my Louboutin PVC CinderellaGonePunk pointy pumps in neon pink and a neon necklace, for a casual chic look. This look can be worn with flats. I wore this skirt on wednesday in London with my lace espadrilles, and everyone thought they were Valentino, love when that happens!
